Scope of works: provide a cause and effect report for the client, hand demolish defective stack, rebuild the stack to match the previous design including new leadwork and reusing the decorative bricks, render the new blockwork and paint the new render. The property is privately owned.

9 Falmouth Road, Truro – Chimney Works (including all high level access scaffolding).

Original scope of works: remove defective render, re-render the stack and paint the new render. Actual scope of works: remove defective render, hand demolish defective stack on our client’s side, rebuilt in line with the structural engineers details, render the new brickwork and paint the new render. Due to the complexity and potential issues evolution instigated and introduced a Party Wall Surveyor immediately upon finding the issue on site. The property is privately owned in a conservation area.

9 Falmouth Road, Truro.

Our shared high level chimney required re-rendering.  On removing blown render it was discovered that the brickwork and flues were disintegrating.  This meant that we required major additional work to be carried.

A Party Wall Agreement was required and through Evolution this was obtained together with a structural engineer.  Evolution were able to complete the works which required sensitivity, diplomacy, man-management with severe scrutiny from the adjoining property owners.  This was fully completed at a reasonable cost and we highly recommend Evolution’s workmanship.

Camborne Science & International Academy – External Works.

Scope of works: re-render feature walls including a curved seating area and paint upon completion, repair and re-stain timber decking, install two new timber gate sets.  All works within the stunning feature area adjacent to the main entrance.
